Description:
Manufactured by Zbrojovka Brno and later by the CZ company. These models were primarily designed for hunting or clay pigeon shooting. This rifle has a moveable breech with a Kersten-style locking mechanism; a cut in the monoblock's bottom engages a lug in the lower portion of the breechblock. The receiver is designed to accept a scope mount in its 14.5 mm flat top dovetail with a square recoil notch. The barrels are 23 5/8" Poldi special steel barrels with a fixed front blade and adjustable rear rifle sight. The 12 gauge barrel is fixed full choke. The sides of receiver are engraved with woodland scenes featuring pheasant on right and a doe on left with vine type foliate scroll. The safety knob on this model is positioned at the front end of the trigger guard. One interesting feature is the triggers since the front trigger only activates the upper barrel whereas the rear one has the option to activate both – first the lower and then the upper barrel. This allows for the rear trigger to act as a single trigger. The two piece walnut stock set is skip line checkered with a pistol grip stock and cheekpiece. 12 Gauge

Metal Condition: 80% remaining. Shows scattered handling wear with broken edges and scratches by the hinge part of the barrels. Scuffing on the serrated barrel rib has removed the finish.

Bore Condition: The 22 Savage barrel is bight with strong rifling. The 12 gauge barrel has a bright smooth bore.
