This is a very nice example of a Hubertus Suhl over-under dural 12 gauge shotgun. This shotgun was manufactured July, 1965 in the gun making region of Suhl, which at that time was in East Germany. Imported by Vintage East German P.G.H. Gunmakers Guild of Suhl. This shotgun was manufactured with a dural boxlock receiver and is a double Greener (Greener was a prime supplier of shotgun barrels, Greener was known for their quality.) The barrels on this shotgun do have a minor area of finish loss on the left side near the muzzles. The bore on this shotgun are in great condition being a 9.5/10. This shotgun comes with a period leather sling as well as two A-Zoom decocking (inert) rounds for dry firing and the action and other metal parts are finely engraved with wildlife scenes. The stock on this shotgun is in great condition and has no major scratches or cracks.
