Description:
This is a great combination of an original Louis Marx Company Thundergun Western Revolver Cap Gun and a Chambers Belt Co. buckled holster set. In the late 50's and into the 60's Marx toys promoted on TV the "Thundergun" a Western Revolver cap gun which used a super smoking and loud double perforated roll of caps. The pistol is over 12" long and 5 1/2" high, big and substantial. It has about half of the orientation finish, a very clean cap area for a pistol that has been used and a functioning single action works. The grips are in excellent condition with the classic "Stallion and rider" on one side and the interesting rare "Screaming Eagle" on the other. The holster and belt are in very good condition with a Chambers Belt Company "Horse and stars" made in USA buckle. The belt and holster are highly embellished and is approximately 30" tip to buckle. There is a small section on the holster that has split stitching. This is one of the nicest constructed cap gun holster rigs I've seen. ;
