Description:
Here we present a beautiful DWM (Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken, Berlin) Argentine Mauser Model 1909 chambered in 7.65x53mm Mauser. This is an ALL NUMBERS MATCHING rifle, including the cleaning rod! The 29" barrel has a very good, shiny bore with strong rifling. The overall condition of this rifle is Very Good to Excellent with the receiver, barrel, sights, base plate, barrel bands and trigger guard assembly retaining 96%-98% of their original finish. There is some light finish wear on the butt plate. All of the original proofs, markings and cartouches remain strong and clear. The stock is in great shape as well with the usual light dings/abrasions consistent with a rifle of this age. The rifle is mechanically excellent with a very smooth action. Also included is a vintage leather sling and an excellent condition 15.5" blade bayonet with scabbard (matching serial numbers on bayonet and scabbard A6445).
