Description:
An 1873 model Maynard Rifle/Shotgun combination with the shotgun special 20 gauge barrel ONLY. A takedown model which could be had with either a rifle or shotgun barrel, this is the shotgun equipped version. The top tang has provision for a tang sight when configured as a rifle. Barrel length is 28", and it has the original browning with a bead front sight. The bore is smooth and shiny, but does have some scattered pits. The action has faded case hardening, and the stock still has the original finish. I DO NOT have a rifle barrel for this offering! NOTE, that this action and barrel uses a special Maynard black powder cartridge not a standard 20 gauge! Please see the photos for actual condition.
