Description:
This Steyr Mannlicher Model L is a right hand bolt action rifle with double set triggers, chambered in .243 Winchester with a 23.5" twisted barrel. The left of the barrel is marked "243 Win." The left side of the receiver is marked with the Steyr logo, "STEYR" in an oval with crosshairs and "STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G. STEYR MANNLICHER MOD. L." The right side of the receiver is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA" behind the ejection port and in front has the serial number "16037" and two proof marks and "70?". The right of the barrel is marked "ONORMM3170STLF3". The bottom of the bolt handle is marked "37" and "70?" with two Austrian proofs. The sights are a standard hooded ramp blade front sight and dovetailed rear sight. The stock is a one-piece skip-line checkered walnut with capped pistol grip, Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece, sold rubber Steyr recoil plate and sling studs front and rear. The stock has no notable damage, only a few light handling marks. The rifle comes with one 5-round rotary magazine. .243 Winchester
