"Made circa 1820. 75 caliber with 41.5" barrel This is a gun marked by the Samuel Slocumb firm of New Orleans, Louisiana. Samuel Slocumb and Company was a general Hardware store that made and sold a wide variety of items. Gun is in very good condition. The front part of the stock has been replaced approximately the last 28" towards the muzzle.
