Description:
Winchester Model 94 Serial #1072466, .30 WCF (.30-30):
- 20" round barrel with a very good bore that is shiny thoughout.
- This is a 1901-made rifle that has 90-92% of the original blue remaining on the barrel and magazine tube, with light silvering at the muzzle and along the edges of the barrel facets.
- The receiver and forend cap have a mottled pewter gray and plum-brown patina with most blue still present along the sides of the frame, while the hammer has a mixed gray and brown patina.
- Hammer holds at half cock and full cock.
- The walnut forend and buttstock are in very good condition, with some minor handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about the original oil finish.
- Crescent steel buttplate has an overall mottled bright gray and plum-brown patina.
- This is a handsome Model 1894, and is in very good-fine condition overall.
