Description:
1911A1 Pistol barrel by Colt, 45 ACP, adopted in 1945. This is a NOS barrel. Never used but there is one tiny surface blemish of about 1/16” in one of the grooves about 2” in from the muzzle. It is not a pitting. I’ll try to get it in a picture. It is marked with the C in a square Colt trademark in lieu of the P proof on the left side. No markings on the right side. Commonly called a post war barrel, some were used on US pistols in the two million range but most were used in the post WW11 era. 100% blued finish. Barrel is mint except for the tiny blemish referred to above. No signs of ever being on a pistol. Accepted payment is postal MO or bank MO or check.
