This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of ½ load .38 Short Colt black powder blanks. The Rem-UMC box has been custom labeled for the Stembridge Gun Rental Company with a date of 1955. Produced at the height of Hollywood Western Movies this box was made for the ever expanding television and motion picture industry and "Stembridge Gun Rentals" was the major supplier to Hollywood of guns and ammunition.. The box shows handling and storage wear with a professional repair to a side flap but retains excellent, utilitarian graphics. The cartridges are "REM-UMC 38 Short" with the inside wad printed "1/2" and are in very good condition with age darkening. A unique piece of Hollywood film history.
