WAS $7000.....Lower Price......I have a scarce early 3 digit serial number Remington model 1890 in 44/40 that was manufactured in 1891-1894 era. It has a two-piece black hard rubber grips that are checkered and have the Remington RA on the top of the panel. The butt has a lanyard ring that is standard on all 1890 revolvers. Serial number 192 is present under grips and on the loading gate. The barrel reads Remington Arms Co ILION NY. The frame reads 44 CWF stamped on the left side. Brown patina throughout and the action is tight working properly. Only a little over 2000 were ever made and this is the earliest one I’ve ever seen. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
