Description:
This is a vintage Colt Woodsman 2nd model hinged leatherette box. This box has a clear, original label identifying it as a factory box for a 4 1/2" Sport Model. A couple corners are torn on the lid, but otherwise in better then average condition. The second model was produced from 1948-1955, with this style box seeing use more toward the end of the run,1953-1955.
