Description:
This is a WWI M1898/05 Pioneer Model Bayonet manufactured by ERFURT in 1915 with the Crown over 15 on the blade spine for Kaiser Wilhelm II. The old pattern double toothed 14 3/8" blade is in very good condition with "Crown ERFURT" on the ricasso and nothing on the reverse. The guard and pommel are in good condition with oxidation, the wooden handle is in very good condition with a fair flash shield. The scabbard is in fair condition with no markings or serial numbers. It has a few small dents and surface oxidation.
