PRICE REDUCED, WAS$1699.99 NOW $1499.99! Nice Smith & Wesson Model 57, 41 Magnum, Nickel Finish, 6" Barrel with manual and warranty card. Even though this revolver has been test fired, it looks almost new. The nickel finish is bright and not all scratched up like many are. I really wish that I had the original box for this one, but all I have is the owners instructions and the warranty card. This one has the Target Grips, Target Hammer, Target Trigger, Red Ramp front sight, and the White outline rear sight. It appears that the grips have shrunk slightly in the dry climate here in the southwest. There is a small gap in the fit right behind the trigger guard (see photos). The grips fit perfectly along the backstrap and on the bottom. The action is smooth and tight and locks up properly. There is a slight turn ring on the cylinder. The chambers and the bore are in excellent shape. This one was made in 1980, 45 years ago. The .41 Magnum cartridge is more powerful than a .357 and nearly matches the power of the .44 Magnum. If you handload, you can load it down for practice and avoid the recoil. I have an old pre-model 57 that I shoot regularly and it is one of my favorites. These are getting hard to find in the bright nickel finish and since they no longer make these old models anymore, they will probably only get more valuable over time. Whether you are looking for a shooter or for an investment, I would highly recommend this one. Thanks for looking!
