This is a absolutely fantastic gun in excellent condition. This is a gun that belonged to Nazi Leader Herman Goering. Goering was one of the most powerful men in Germany, second only to Adolf Hitler. In addition to many other posts, he also commanded the Luftwaffe. Goering was one of the few high command Nazis captured. He committed suicide by cyanide after his conviction of war crimes. This is an unusual Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer as it is spectacularly engraved. On the bottom of the trigger guard is Goering Crest with the raised armored forearm holding a ring. The crest was put on guns made for Goering. This gun also has the interesting feature of having a fold out spike on the forward Mannlicher stock on each side. This spike appears to be a feature where the shooter could stabilize the rifle in a tree while on a hunt. This stock also has an adjustable, spring loaded comb so the shooter could either use the iron sights or the scope. Both of these features are seen on other Goering owned rifles. This is a very unique and historic Rifle belonging to one of the most infamous Nazis. Price: $59,500.00 Curio/Relic: Yes |
