M1917 Eddystone rifle in .30-06. This beautiful rifle has a 26" barrel with a shiny bore. The M1917 was an American modification and licensed production of the British P14 Enfield used during World War 1, and was the main service rifle for the American Expeditionary Forces at the time.The serial number indicates a production date around November of 1918, and the barrel is dated January of 1918. This rifle is sporting Lyman adjustable rear sights and is in very good condition overall. The wood shows only very minor dings typical of a 100+ year old rifle, and the metal is nearly flawless.
