Description:
Original WW2 US Remington 03A4 30-06 Sniper rifle with proper Weaver M73B1 scope. Serial number in the 3.4M range with 2-44 R marked barrel. ME of 0+ with beautiful shiny bore. "AN" marked C stock indicating this one went through Anniston Arsenal for inspection and/or rebuild. Plain P firing proof at wrist. Proper Redfield base and 7/8” rings that are parkerized. The Weaver scope is original WW2 US Army issue and is serial numbered on the side showing some light rust speckles on adjustment knobs. Optics are clear. The stock shows only light marks and little wear. Proper relived R marked bolt built exclusively for sniper rifles to clear the scope. Includes leather scope cover. Remington would produce around 28,000 03A3 (A4 sniper) designated rifles ending in 1944 just prior to the adoption of the M1C Garand sniper system. This is a nice one.
