Description:
WW2 German Youth Dagger. BLUNT UN EHRE etched on the blade and maker marked RZM M7/36. German Youth insignia embossed on handle top. Blade is 9-3/8 inches under cross guard, 13-1/4 inches overall. This is a full size dagger. Scabbard has a pebbled finish covering and tarnished metal fitting top and bottom. Handle is wrapped with a silver color very fine twisted wire. Cross guard is tarnished as shown. The scabbard top fitting is embossed with a Eagle and Swatzika, this fitting is held on the top by 2 small side pins, see pictures.
One of this same German Youth dagger sold at the last Milestone Military $2300.
Have been told it is post WW2.
Overall the dagger is in Excellent condition. Blade is EX++.
