32469- RARE COLT HARTFORD ENGLISH DRAGOON PERCUSSION REVOLVER CIRCA 1856-7. Six shot .44 caliber with 7 ½” barrel address stamped “ADDRESS SAML. COLT NEW-YORK CITY”. All matching and original . Serial number in the Hartford English serial range “650” including the loading lever and wedge. Even all the screws original and excellent . Brass grip straps with traces of original silver remaining. Original walnut grips with the original finish. Fine overall with metal a lovely dark untouched patina with traces of greyish casehardening on frame. Cylinder and barrel lug with British proofs. Frame crisply stamped “COLT’S/PATENT” on left side. Excellent nipples with most of the original blue. Fine bore and in perfect working order. Only 700 of these were made at the Hartford Factory for the English market and are very rare. $7900.
