Six-shot percussion .44 caliber with 7 ½’ barrel addressed “ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY All original and matching as refinished with minor well done loading lever repair. Serial number in the 65xx range. Nice looking original with crisp “U.S.” stamp on frame beneath the “COLT’S/PATENT”. Excellent markings and cylinder scene. Frame and loading lever case hardened and barrel and screws blued. Cylinder polished. Grips refinished nicely. Handsome looking original U.S. issue 1st Model Dragoon. $5500.
