Gebruder Merkel Sidelock Hammer Drilling, 16 bore side by side over 8x57JR, 7 lbs., hammer sidelock action with bolstering and sideclips, Greener cross-bolt, top lever, about 60% coverage acanthus scroll hand engraving, top tang safety for rifle featuring push button to popup rear single blade sight mounted in rib, 70cm (27 3/8") nitro proved fluid Krupp steel barrels with full length machined rib with claw mounts (no rings), barrels engraved "Suhler Waffenwerk" and "Gebruder Merkel, Suhl", choked .014 Mod. and .032 Full, 2 1/2" chambers, double triggers, prince-of-wales grip, splinter forend, 14 1/4" LOP over a horn butt plate, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 3/4" DAH, cheekpiece, butt stock with bullet trap, horn inlay in forend tip. Very good condition gun, minor handling and use marks, tip of butt toe looks to have been broken and repaired at some point in it's life.
