Here is a really unique and exceptionally rare Colt Government Model. In fact, it's so early in production during post-war Colt, that it lacks the "Government Model" roll mark.
This pistol was shipped sometime in Late October/Early November 1946. It is made of extra military contract parts that were leftover from World War Two. Colt F marked barrel.
A scarce example that is rarely seen.
