About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for over 50 years. Now I feel that it is time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop who will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. Description:
Exceptional, Vintage, UNERTL 12X ULTRA VARMINT Riflescope. This is a very nice, almost perfect Unertl Ultra Varmint scope. It has the 1" tube and the big 2" Objective lens. The Ultra Varmint also has a larger occular lens than the 2" target scopes. That makes the Ultra Varmint a bit brighter. I bought this scope from a man who had it on a Winchester pre-64 22 Hornet Target Rifle. He would not sell me the rifle and as far as I know, he still has it. He took off the Unertl to put a Leupold 24X Benchrest scope on because he thought that it would be easier to focus. I have used it a little bit mounted on a Kimber Model 82 Match Target rifle. I feed it Eley 10X ammo and it shoots ragged holes at 50 yards. I hate to sell it but I still have another one that I use on my Winchester 52C Heavy Target model 22. This is as nice as any one that I have ever seen except one that I saw that was new in the box. It has the Magnum Clamp and uses Posa Mount Bases. The lens caps look perfect and go on and off smoothly. The adjustments are crisp and accurate. The photos tell the story. Please ask questions and Thanks for looking.

My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. No private sales on firearms!
SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges. Please ask questions.
