Description:
This is a nice S&W No. 1 Second Issue 22 Rimfire with serial number 43289 on the butt and the right grip. It still retains 65% tarnished silver plate. The barrel retains 40% blue. The mechanical function is very good and the bore has strong rifling with traces of scattered corrosion. The grips retain 82% varnish with a tiny chip on the right heal. This is a 7 shot with a 3 3/16” barrel. This was made about 1864. “CAN NOT SELL TO CANADA”
