For sale we have a King Custom Colt Government model 1911 pistol in .45 ACP. This pistol is a 1949 Commercial model Colt that was completely customized by King Custom with full engraving on frame, slide, and base of magazine. The gun comes with custom ivory grips, and gold plated trigger and hammer, mainspring housing, grip safety, sights, and pins. Rear sight and bushing are marked 'KING'. Gun shows some very light wear to the gold finish on the sights, but is otherwise in excellent condition with Colt logo presentation case. Serial number is C239073.
