Description:
Serial #405151, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1915-made revolver that has retained 92-95% of the original high polish blue finish that has some silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges, and mild turn-ring on the cylinder. Additionally, there are some scattered specks of very mild surface freckling scattered about, fading along the checkered backstrap, and some further freckling on the sides of the hammer spur. The checkered Colt medallion grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. The grips have a few minor handling marks on either side with some mild flattening of the points as well. The lock-up is still tight, and the action functions smoothly in both single and double-action. This is a really nice WW1 era Officers Model, in fine overall condition. FFL or C&R
