The item for sale is a Mario Hanel Holster for the Colt Single Action with a 7 1/2" barrel. Mario Hanel of Oregon is one of the top saddle makers of vintage saddles and holsters today. His work is truly Western art and sought by collectors and anyone appreciating fine leather work.
This left-hand "Mexican Loop" holster features a single loop, fully sewn main seam and a open toe with a full skirt. Both the skirt, loop and pouch are extensively stamped. This is truly a beautiful holster to go with a fine Colt. There appears to be minor wear along the side of the pouch (photos).
