Description:
Up for sale is an exquisite 20-gauge double rifle manufactured by W. Collath in Frankfurt, Germany. This rifle is in overall good condition with the most notable damage being the scratches on the right barrel. The engravings along the receiver and tang are very finely detailed and depict deer, doe, rabbits, and plenty of oak leaves. The trigger guard appears to be made from a piece of buffalo horn. We do not have any chamber drawings or information about the cartridge this rifle would shoot.
Both barrels have spiral rifling.
This rifle has been converted from a 24 gauge, to a 20 gauge.
