Description:
Smith & Wesson Pre 10 chambered in .38 S&W (not Special) with a 5" ribbed barrel. V prefix is found on the bottom of the barrel. The left side top strap is signed by master engraver Kurt Jaeger in Mainz, Germany (1917-2003). The hammer and trigger sides are jeweled. The Floral and tendrils pattern is engraved on the barrel at the muzzle and breech, frame sides, trigger guard, cylinder flats, butt and back strap. A "P" stamp is found on both the upper left frame, back of cylinder. Both stag grip panels are in excellent condition. The hand made display case is nicely constructed with the makers signature and date, "Dec 1963" is found on the bottom. .38 S&W
