For your consideration, the Colt Government Model semi-auto pistol chambered in .45 Auto. The 1911 became very popular after the First World War, and many veterans sought to own one. The Commercial model was essentially the same, but didn't have 1911 U.S. Army on them, the slide was marked Colt Automatic instead. The letter "C" prefix meant it was commercial, after 1950 the "C" became a suffix. This model was made in 1926, it has an era correct box and two-tone magazine. .45 Auto
