Simson Model 8 in 12 Gauge. This gun was manufactured in the Suhl, East Germany by Simson. The Model 8 is the same, basic gun that's been sold as a Merkel, Simson, or Sauer for over a century. The 27 3/4 Inch barrels are choked Improved Modified/Full and have 2 3/4-inch chambers. It has double triggers, cocking indicators, original butt plate, and matching numbers. It has beautiful stock with cheek piece and finely checkered splinter forend. The LOP is 14 1/2 inches from the front trigger. It is in excellent condition with tight action and mirror bores. 12 Gauge
