Description:
Colt 1849 pocket percussion .31 caliber revolver.
Made in 1865 this 4” barrel ’49 remains in very good to fine antique condition.
Barrel blue is 90-95% with sharp edges and a very fine bore.
The frame is faded with traces of case coloring.
The Stage Coach scene on the matching serial numbered cylinder is very visible with nice colr.
The grips are nearly perfect with strong finish and just a very few light “dings” to the bottom edges.
Good screws.
Mechanically excellent.
Overall, this is a very nice example of a Colt 1849
