This Winchester was produced in 1886. The rifle's serial number is 200972. This rifle has the 24 inch round barrel chambered to shoot the 32W.C.F. cartridge. The bore is in very nice condition with good lands. This Winchester is fitted with the rare model 62 Winchester tang sight. The locking knob is missing to lock the sight adjustment in place. The rear sight is the standard Winchester sight for the model and time frame. The front sight is the flip up globe sight with the center dot. This rifle is in patina condition. The stock and forend are in fine condition with no cracks or other damage. The original finish is still present. The action works very well with no issues. This is a nice well used Winchester with the very rare Winchester tang sight. This rifle has not been abused and will appeal to collectors especially with that tang sight!
