This Marlin's serial number is 4301-C. This carbine has the 20 inch barrel chambered for the 30-30 cartridge. The bore is in good to very good condition. The sights are original to this carbine. The original barrel blue would rate a 97% condition. The receiver and lever is mostly silvery with faint traces of color cased finish. The stock and forend appear to have been refinished years ago. The wood is in fine condition with no cracks or other issues. The action works just fine with no problems. This is a nice honest used Marlin that is capable of shooting just as good as when it was new all those years ago! The box of shells is for display only and not for sale.
