This Colt is chambered for the 45 Colt cartridge. The 4 3/4 inch barrel bore is in fine condition with sharp lands and bright bore. The cylinders are bright with no pitting or other issues. The action works very good with no issues. All of the cocks work correctly. The factory letter states that this Colt was shipped to Norvell Shapleigh Hardware Co. in St. Louis Missouri October 15th 1901. This Colt now is mostly bright metal with traces of color cased finish in protected areas. The barrel has about 25% of the faded bluing left. The grips are not serial numbered. There is some initials and writing in the back panels of these grips. These correct hard rubber grips fit this Colt perfectly. The screws are in fine condition with no burring.
