Montgomery Ward Model M865A - Lever Action Carbine .22 LR - Monte Carlo pistol grip style stock and forend with barrel band and sling swivel and butt plate. Hammerless , lever action. 20 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine can accept 20 short , 17 Long and 15 LR ammo . Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes new soft sleeve. Manufactured for Wards by Mossberg similar to Mossberg model 402 Carbine. Overall condition is exceptional for it's age . Manufactured from 1961 to 1971.
