This is a Colt model 1862 Pocket Police revolver and an orignal leather Holster. circa 1860s to 1880s. The 36 cal. 5 shot fluted cylinder rotates on 1/4 cock half cock allows a chamber to rotate one at a time.and on full cock the cylinder locks until cocked again. (Single Action) The 6 inch rifled barrel shows great rifling as seen in the photo's. The top of the barrel is marked ( ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW YORK, U.S. AMERICA) Please use the Photo's to judge condition for yourself. The SN.s match except the butt strap is 3905.
