Description:
Chambered in 44 WCF the 24 inch round barrel and full length magazine show about 85% finish with some scattered areas of light oxidation. The bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. Original sporting front and flat-top sporting rear sights. The receiver shows about 90% original blue with just a little very light freckling. The walnut stocks have been lightly freshened and now show just light wear and handling marks. This high condition rifle was previously sold at in 2003 and comes with the catalogs attributing it to the estate of Michael Wayne, son of John Wayne. Made in 1918.
