Description:
A beautiful Henry rifle with factory engraved and silver plated frame. Gun engraved in American Eagle motif as seen in the photos. Barrel with excellent and slightly toning blue. Stocks are sound and excellent with original finishes and minor handling marks. Buttplate is engraved and in excellent original shape with a great deal of original plating. No cleaning rod in the butt. Gun is accompanied by a letter from highly esteemed firearms author and expert, Dan Cullity, describing the gun as found today and barrel showing superb restoration as he notes in his letter, otherwise he asserts all finishes and pieces as original.
