Hard to find an early Ithaca Flues Model Grade 7E 12ga Single barrel trap. Gun has 29.5" barrel with ventilated rib. Forend is beautifully checkered in wave border and fleur-de-lis pattern with fully engraved push button release. Barrel is scroll engraved on sides at breech. Casehardened frame is fantasically full coverage engraved in well executed scroll and gold inlaid as seen in the photos. The long tang trigger guard and top tang & lever are also fully engraved. Flame figured American Walnut buttstock is beautifully checkered in fleur-de-lis pattern as seen in the photos and has gold shield on toe line terminates with a black leather covered pad.
Gun remains in beautiful overall condition with barrel retaining nearly all blue. Stocks are sound and excellent with well defined checkering. Frame with beautiful dark original case colors. Bore is brilliant. Mechanics are perfect.
