Description:
SA Garand semi-auto rifle was made in January 1953 while the SA 24 inch round barrel chambered in 30-06 Springfield caliber is dated 8 53. Very good bore. Crisp tight action. WRA trigger group. Blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear. Very nice parkerized finish. Walnut stocks show some usage and handling mars. Has the eagle w/stars in square defense dept. acceptance stamp. Stock is also serial numbered to the gun. Period sling. Springfield produced the Garand from 1934–1957. This one was most likely used at the tail end of the Korean War. A good looking piece of history.
