This Second Model rifle features a 23 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a dark heavily pitted bore. Replaced sights. Relic grade with heavy pitting and wear throughout. Missing the dust cover. Forearm is absent with a heavily weathered buttstock that has pieces absent. Rifle style buttplate. Mechanically the action cycles. This example would make for an interesting conversation piece. Who knows, maybe it was left outside for a decade and found leaning up against a tree... You can make up your own story!
