Description:
Special order features include a 26 inch rapid taper half round half octagon barrel chambered in 25-35 WCF caliber. Very good bore with sharp rifling. Sights include a ramped Lyman front sight with a filler in the rear and a folding tang sight. Most original thinning barrel blue remains. Receiver has some blue in the protected areas with the balance a brown/gray color. Good traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Special order un-checkered pistolgrip walnut stock with a shotgun butt and a hard rubber buttplate. This is a hard to find configuration that will no doubt fill a hole in your Winchester 1894 collection. An early rifle made in 1899.
