Weighs 16 pounds. 48” o/a with 32” rifled .58 caliber octagon barrel maker stamped “J.S. JOHNSTON”. Missing rear sights. Tiger maple stock with brass mounts and brass side plate. Brass mounts and patch box. Lock plate signed “LEMAN/LANCTR. PA”. Double set triggers. All original and very scarce heavy barrel match rifle by this famous maker. Very good overall with wood having the original finish. Small piece missing near right side of forend cap. Metal with the original dark patina. Lock in working order and excellent bore. Only heavy weight match rifle by this well published maker we have found. $2400.
