Description:
This is probably the fanciest military gun I have ever seen. This one was engraved by Ulrich and is signed underneath the forearm. 33 inch round barrel is engraved as well. Barrel bands are engraved along with the receiver and are gold gilded. The bayonet is elaborately engraved as well. Engraving is a delicate scroll work. Just beautiful. Wood has most varnish remaining. Checkering is sharp. Early serial number 5. Receiver retains about 90% of the gold gild. Lever and trigger guard have elaborate engraving. It would be hard to improve on this gun.
