Description:
Single shot percussion carbine with 21 inch round barrel chambered in 54 caliber. Bore has visible rifling and scattered pitting throughout. Original sights include a blade front and a folding rear. Barrel is a brown patina. Receiver is a mottled brown/gray color with decent markings. Walnut stock is in good condition with some handling mars and two cartouches on the left side. Several inspector marks. It is a decent looking gun that is in fairly good condition. Nice example of a Civil War carbine.
