Description:
Excellent Vietnam Capture Chinese Chicom Type 56 SKS 7.62x39 with capture documents. A factory 26 Chicom Type 56 in the 12.3M serial range likely made around 1967. All matching numbers. In original and unfired condition (gas tube and piston are like new). Captured by US Army E-5 Jeffrey Fozard, Co. A. AATG BN in April of 1971 who kept all paperwork including the in country South Vietnam export paper, triplicate copies of DD603 capture documents along with US Army Provost Marshall in duplicate (all paperwork is original). The rifle has its original finish with some light thinning on magazine and some light marks on stock. Mirror bore and perfect mechanics. Likely this was captured in a weapons cache based on condition…and the 1971 capture date coincides with raids into Laos and Cambodia in which large quantities of new weapons were captured. Registered with CA DOJ for firearm transfer, but please check if approved by state of CA prior to (C&R items are exempt from this restriction if they abide by magazine and assault weapons laws). Shipments to 03 Curio & Relic FFL holders is allowed if it complies with state and local laws. Please note several state including NY, NJ, CA etc only allows shipment of C&R handguns and rifles to an 01 or 07 FFL dealer. Sales only in USA. I ship using FEDEX and USPS.
