Shipped to Berlin by Stevens to be engraved and finished by B. Scheueller. 12-1/2 inch barrel chambered in 22 LR caliber has a very good shiny bore with some very light pitting. Central part of the barrel is round and both ends are octagon. Barrel has nice engraving and is engraved "B. Scheueler" "Berlin" around rear center portion. Barrel retains most of its brown refinish. Blade front and a V-notch rear sights. Frame is elaborately done in deep relief engraving with a gold finish. Gun retains about 90% of the gold treatment. Ebony checkered stocks are in excellent condition and retain nearly all of their original finish. Buttstock has a monogram "AB". When these guns were done in the 30's and 40's they had some fantastic artwork done with unbelievable quality. This one is no exception. This is a just a beautiful Single Shot Target pistol.
