Payment Types Accepted: Cash, Check, USPS Money Order Description: Ruger Standard, semi-automatic, .22LR pistol with a 4.75-inch tapered barrel, checkered wood grips, and fixed front and rear sights. The overall length of the gun is about 9 inches; the total height, including sights, is 5 ¾”. The total weight (with empty magazine) is 2 pounds, 2.9 ounces. The gun comes with an aftermarket black Nylon case and three (total) Ruger 10-shot magazines. There are no box, papers, or other accessories. According to the online “Ruger Standard and Mark I Pistol” serial number listing, this gun was manufactured in 1981. I confirmed that with Ruger customer service. The Ruger Standard pistol has been out of production sincethe early 1980s when it was replaced by the Ruger Mark I. This gun is in remarkable condition, especially given its 44 years of age. Its overall condition of the gun itself is 100 percent. It is as though it has been sitting in its case all of its life. There are no marks, blemishes, or signs of wear on any parts of the gun. The high-resolution photos do not do justice. The after-market checkered wood grip panels are also like new, with no marks, blemishes, or signs of wear. The checking is deep and crips, with no damage. The bore is clean, bright, and shiny. The biggest detractors are the absence of its original grips and the absence of its original box, papers, and other accessories. However, its aftermarket grips really look and feel good. The photos are high resolution. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority Mail and $11.00 per the USPS insurance schedule. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear. However, I will accept a personal check, another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; that includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. Check or money order must be made payable to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms. Price: $475.00 |
