Description:
This gun is pictured on page 315 of the Winchester Engraving book by Larry Wilson. Comes complete with Cody Firearms form that specifies that it has a 14 inch LOP with 2-7/8 inch drop. 28 inch barrel is 4-star Damascus. Engraved on the receiver is a setter on one side with the name Tim underneath it. On the other side is the initials "T E F". Both names as well as the dog are listed. Also specifies pistol grip and hard rubber buttplate. Generally in VG condition with 50% thinning blue starting to tone. Good Damascus pattern still visible on the barrel. Stock is in fine condition with most of the high gloss finish. Wood is probably 3X grade. Action functions nicely. A very unusual gun. Complete with research form from Buffalo Bill Museum.
